One of our members was host to MHCLG this month! On the 24th of June Grassmore and Hasland were delighted to welcome visitors from the UK Government policy team, and people from the National Lottery and of course Ralph Rudden, ACT Chair was also at the meeting. The visit was a fantastic opportunity to showcase the power of Resident-Led Investment across Grassmoor & Hasland. From improvements to our Greenways and pathways, to the development of two incredible community facilities – The Hub at the heart of Hasland and the Grassmoor Community Sports Pavilion  in the Heart of the Park– it was an inspiring day that truly highlighted how much positive change can happen when communities lead the way.

Our visitors explored our parks, saw the standout features of transformation across the area, and met the dedicated volunteers behind so much of the progress and action.

A huge thank you to everyone who helped make the day such a success — especially to those who showcased their work, and an extra special thanks to our wonderful caterers, Spire Deli, for keeping us all fuelled and happy! Amazing Spread and Ralph said it was the best he had tasted yet!
